Wacky Game for Strategy Fans

King Oddball is a strategy game where players have to defeat enemies by hurling rocks at them. This is a game where precision is everything and players wil need absolutely perfect timing to be able to destroy all the enemies and make it to the next level.

Getting a Little Odd

While the game concept is rather simple, the actual play is quite tricky. People who have itchy trigger fingers are likely to find that it is almost impossible to get the timing right. As the game progresses, it unfolds that there are not enough boulders to simply throw one at each enemy, which is where the main strategy element comes into play and this makes the game even more difficult.

King for a Day

People who enjoy strategy games and have a wacky sense of humour are likely to have fun playing King Oddball, at least for a while. Although there are more than a hundred different levels, aside from becoming more difficult they do not offer a lot of variation to the game play and at times the enemies are so difficult to crush that it is likely to lead to feelings of frustration among some gamers.
